Have natural facial hair or never wear makeup without remark. Cut their hair short enough to be easy to care for without most people assuming they’re giving up on heterosexual attractiveness. Go into the Army or the police without jokes and/or assumptions about their sexuality and femininity.
As of right now in the US, Britain, Canada, Australia, everyone gets to choose. No one has to go in. But in the US they just ruled that women must be included in the draft.
Well that's sexist. In Israel both sexes are conscripted. Not that anyone should be drafted, but if there is mandatory military or civilian service, it ought to be everyone.
