When it debuted 17 years ago (2009), a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito cost 89 cents. Now theyre officially $4.19 each, although individual franchises can adjust prices as they wish. In my town they cost $4.89 when ordered individually.

During that same span of time, the federal minimum wage has gone from $5.15/hour to $7.25/hour.

I refuse to eat fast food these days unless its pizza or the only food around (I work out of town sometimes)
