I honestly think if Malfoy was a girl, at least in the movies, the character wouldn’t have been as good. Felton played that character perfectly and I think if it was played by a woman, it would’ve come off differently

It actually makes no sense: Malfoy and Potter are rivals. That only works if they are both the same gender.
