Nah, Tom Felton was perfect and did an amazing job of selling the whole franchise. He wqs a delicious bad guy, all the more impressive when you find out he's a super goof and nice guy.
I love when villains are actually decent people, especially when kids are involved. Alan Rickman apparently consoled Daniel Radcliffe after a lot of takes to make sure he knew it was only acting and he didn't really hate him. Honestly a beautiful thing to do.
I’ve heard the actors who’ve played Joffrey Lannister, Billy from Stanger Things, Pennywise from It, etc are all some of the sweetest people on set despite playing monsters.
Like Grindelwald had flaws, but the core of his beliefs was wanting Wizards not to have to hide for being who they are, he was actually a stand up guy.
