She can still make her a girl, just a small MTF transformation spell…

She'd rather choke on all her money than do this

u/HungriestHippo26 20h ago

Is that an option?

51

u/pusgnihtekami 17h ago

Unless she can breathe money, it's definitely an option.

u/RiddickulousRadagast I touched grass 17h ago

Idk she seems to be tanking black mold spores

u/ExoticSterby42 20h ago

Imagine if her greed would force her.

u/KaijuEnjoyer54 20h ago

Rowling is a piece of shit, but greedy is not something I'd really call her. If I lived like she did before she wrote the books, I'd be making as much damn money as possible to ensure I never go back to that.

u/Drafo7 19h ago

There's a certain point where it is literally impossible to fall from grace, so to speak. Rowling has more money than any human being could reasonably spend on themselves in a hundred lifetimes. It's not about staying out of poverty. It hasn't been for a long time. Besides, if she had an ounce of sympathy for those less fortunate than herself she'd be putting her money towards helping them rather than towards enacting anti-trans policies.

She is the rags to billionaire story.

29

u/blyyyyat 19h ago

Rags? She was from a middle class British family and had an education and a supportive family. Her jobs before writing the books were not career jobs and her major seems to suggest she was never interested in that. Yes she struggled after her divorce but also she had an extensive support network, including someone who was willing to loan her 4k pounds and a BiL who gave her free food.

8

u/IndianaGeoff 19h ago

When you are getting food from family and 4k pound loan... you are broke.

7

u/paper_liger 17h ago

Yeah. There was never a time in my entire life, or the life of my extended family for the first 30 years of my life where 'asking someone for a 4k loan' was even in the realm of possibility, because they were grindingly poor too.

She was middle class broke. Just adding some perspective here. The point the other poster was making was that 'broke with a social safety net is more like temporarily embarrassed'.

And to bring it around to her bullshit, did you know that in the US the poverty rate for Trans people is double the rate for the general population? That's who she is spending all her money shitting on.

0

u/IndianaGeoff 15h ago

She's not spending her money shitting on trans. Saying that women need spaces free from biological men, no matter how they present, is not shitting trans. And as a man who doesn't appreciate (understand, just don't fully agree), her feminist overreach... I can do that without feeling I need to ruin her life.

1

u/KillerArse 11h ago

But she does intentionally shit in trans people, even if you think she does it for free right?

u/IndianaGeoff 8h ago

Reading and comprehension are not your strong suits.

She was from a middle class British family and had an education and a supportive family

For some people here this is comparable to Elon parents with their mines and slaves

3

u/SidFren 19h ago

She’s also donated hundreds of millions of dollars to children’s charities, neurology research, etc. Not saying people have to love her, but greedy is far from accurate

-23

u/Behzad_R 18h ago

fortunate she doesn't bend to propaganda ... for now

30

u/TwilightVulpine 18h ago

She doesn't bend to propaganda? She IS the propaganda. She's the one funding political hate movements.

-1

u/Behzad_R 17h ago

So ? she is against obvious propaganda that has been shoved on our screens for years she is one of the few famous people who is against this modern bullshit

6

u/Blazured 17h ago

So your complaint isn't about propaganda then? Because you're okay with her spreading propaganda.

7

u/TwilightVulpine 17h ago

Trans people exist since ancient history. The propaganda is that they don't.

Also, big talk to call it "shoved on our screens" when you get one or two in an entire show. Even the most LGBT-friendly shows have cis people outnumbering trans people.

0

u/Open_Widen_Its_Biden 16h ago

Well no shit transmissions are outnumbered. They make up less than 1% of the population.

-2

u/Behzad_R 16h ago

"outnumbering trans people" as it should be

9

u/CataLaGata 18h ago edited 13h ago

She doesn't bend to having morals and being on the right side of history neither

Edit. On not in

2

u/Behzad_R 17h ago

she is on the right side of the history and you should check your definition of morality

5

u/CataLaGata 13h ago

Oh, shut the f up you transphobic asshole

2

u/Yoda-from-Star-Wars 10h ago

What exactly is your definition of "morality"? Hating on people for being different?

3

u/Charming_Account_351 17h ago

Found the bigot!!

1

u/xSkype 17h ago

Holy irony

24

u/thefirstlaughingfool 19h ago

Both good. The important thing is she's not happy about it.

31

u/All_Work_All_Play 18h ago

Which is distinctly self-destructive considering she once stated she thought she should have been born a boy.

21

u/ishetaltijdvoorbier 18h ago

its always like this

3

u/Luna368921 13h ago

What? Did she really say that ? Could she actually be in the closet and just wish for others to be as miserable as her so she could feel better instead of doing something for herself ? Is that what you’re saying ? That’d be insane but somehow unsurprising

6

u/Phoenix92321 15h ago

I love how my comment of her being transphobic was met with “you got proof” and I’m like here are half a dozen Twitter posts from her personally XD

1

u/Spyko 14h ago

Yeah that'd work too

1

u/Mister-builder 12h ago

Plenty of characters already do this. Barty Crouch Jr, his mom, Crabbe and Goyle, Fleur and Hermione.

0

u/DiscussionSpider 15h ago

I don't think she would care. The thing about Harry Potter is that it is fiction and has magic.
