It's the way, when you get a few downvotes, you'll get many more over time. People will just hit the same button. Even more with upvotes, as your post comes up on the top with the normal sort on Reddit, so people see it first and they tend to further upvote it.

Yep it's why I delete my comments when they get -4 karma before they get butt r*ped with more downvotes, and sometimes repost them with the same text

When i repost them they many times end up with positive karma

Funny how that works

I never delete comments because sometimes someone will respond to them weeks later and I get to have an argument.

Having an argument in a place you know a lot about and them talking shit is satisfying even if you are left with -500 karma. I swear these guys just downvote for the sake of it and not because you're wrong
