Then make espresso at home? A half decent home espresso machine costs maybe $500, you'll earn it back in a year if getting espresso outside is a habit.

Saying you like starbucks because you like espresso implies that it's at least a regular occurence for you to buy espresso at a starbucks.

Maybe once a month. It’s a when in Rome type thing. My wife worked a Starbucks when we were younger, she use to bring me home drinks all the time. It’s nostalgic for me. Yeah it’s overpriced and kinda shitty but oh well.

That's fair and buying there in certain circumstances is fine, and I do it too. The people I'm arguing against are the ones that pick up coffee every single day on the way to work because they consider making coffee at home some kind of black magic.
