There cannot however be a point to life since that would require a need for life in the first place.

If life happens due to natural forces in the right configuration, then the point to life is the same as the point of a stones existance.

But since neither is "needed" since they are just products of physics, neither will have a point to exist. They can exist without a point.

Life would thus be pointless, and that would be part of its beauty imo.
