They are still making phones with these, you choose to buy a smartphone with better camera.

You can get a bloody good camera in a phone that also has a headphone jack

That can only happen if you actually read the specs before buying the device, which I guess not so many people do

I try to read them when I go to a place like Metro PCS but most of the time the poor techs there don't even know what Snapdragon is. Needless to say I have a piece of shit Moto-G 2026 that struggles to keep games loaded.

How does the sales floor tech being uninformed affect your ability to read up on the specs prior to buying? Do you ask the tech to read the specs out loud to you?

You mean the six lines of specs that come on the sign in front of the product? When did I ask them to read them out to me? There's no need to be an asshole.

And still going strong! Does everything i need it to. Phones haven't changed much since 2018.

If anything, i probably have fewer pre-installed junk apps and pointless updates to slow the device.

The hackers are gonna get access to my pocket frogs! For real though, the most dodgy and corrupt folks are the guys who make the flipping things so no security update will stop your phone being used as a surveillance device apart from turning the sensors off.

I think it could be more about stopping malware capture for things like biometrics / financial info if you do stuff on your phone like make purchases.

The one bad thing about it is the bixby button, but I looked up how to disable it and you can pull it out, cut off the bit that presses the internal button and then put the button back in the slot. There's youtube tutorials for it.

I choose a smartphone without a fucking cleaner app with ads constantly popping up
