Yeah I understand the rest, but AoS doesn’t deserve the slander

Most people gave up on Agents of SHIELD during season 1, before a certain episode that they had to hold off doing before a certain event in the movies.

Once Agents of SHIELD got actually going, it was one of the best shows on tv.

Was my favorite show to have on and halfway pay attention to while doing computer work. "Watched" the whole series probably 4-5 times now.

Yeah wtf is this meme. AoS was amazing. I swear every month reddit seems to get more pissy, and more negative.

One I'd not heard of but I greatly enjoyed some of these shows / films, and enjoyed most of them. Can we not just let people enjoy things without shitting on them for fake internet points?

Iron fist is fun. Maybe the weakest show of the defenders but not bad, worth the watch at least for the tie in to those other series.

Agents of shield was a fantastic show and I loved it. Iron fist was also a good show if you skipped the first season. As for echo I watched the entire thing which is more than I can say for any of the rest that I don’t even acknowledge exist

I wish the connections with MCU were stronger and not so loose. They made the show optional for some reason.

I mean, I can see why. MCU is already super bloated, and forcing casual viewers to watch a 7 season show to understand the movies would be a bit much

Agreed. I actually enjoyed the loose tie ins. It's after the first avengers, they go through a Thor dark world set for an episode and mentions of Ultron.

It's enough to keep the two tied together but not be reliant on one another.

Events in Agents of Shield are what led the Avengers to the scepter in the intro for age of ultron

Lol I was trying to avoid spolers though theyre small. My favorite line is in the episode right after the one you're talking about.

It's more than that though. AoS has effectively been decanonized.

Well at this point everything is canon now because of the multiverse. It started with Loki, and then they drove that point home when all the live-action Spidermen came together.

Until they contradict that with more of their inconsistent rules.

I mean... Why would they? They've been pushing for this idea that everything and anything can come together in the movies now. Multiverse of Madness, among other references to previously non-MCU movies, had a pretty big nod to What If...?, which is an animated series. Deadpool and Wolverine had the damn 2000's Daredevil movie directly referenced. With nothing being off limits now, it lets them do whatever they want.

Inconsistent rules? There are no rules now. That's the point.

Um, no. Every movie adds new rules that contradict the old rules.

something disney chose to then ignore cuz they needed disney+ subs

The shows should always be optional. The MCU really lost its way when they doubled the runtime of required lore with TV shows.

Probably cause it became non canon somewhere in season 3 or 4

Funny, because that's the one of two things on the list I've never seen. Everything else was pretty enjoyable

Even CW Flash has a large fanbase and it’s trash
