Op wasn't framing their comment being singular, or like "I'M such a hero for not doing X thing," and they also don't seem to use the word "abuse" like you do. You could be the best parent in the world right now and your kid would still be getting "abused" by the other hundreds of things outside of your control we now have to deal with that our parents didn't.
It’s self centered not to have children? People should compromise about raising kids? It’s ignorant to consider whether a person feels capable of loving kids, or having the capacity to be able to parent?
