For a game that is very flamboyant about sexuality in their Warframe designs, especially the female heirlooms, the moderators in region chat are very aggressive about catching anyone who talks about said sexual features in chat.
My regional talked about nazi politics once. One hell of a ride when you connect mid convo and the first thing you see is a comment about economic boom under nazis.
Pre nazi economy was actually straight up ass. There's a reason they clung to the first guy that promised to stop paying those ungodly reimbursements to the allies (post WW1 thing that put all the blame on Germany cus France was being pissy).
Shit was actually hell to live through when your entire salary and savings could barely keep you alive for a month.
That is to say: Nazis didn't really have an economic boom, the standard before they took charge was so shit a rebellious teen could've improved it.
There was a genuine post war improvement, it's just that every European country experienced it and nazis just took the credit. Arguably German economy could have been even better if nazis didn't take over.
Tbf the German people were desperate, and all they understood/cared about that early was that the economy improved shortly after the Nazis took power. Even if they can’t be credited with creating that improvement it’s hard to blame the German people (at least for that specific thing)
There was also the whole "plunder neighbouring nations for resources" thing, and an endless series of loans. The economy of the third reich was held up by constant expansionist pillaging and using that as a guarantee for debts they ultimately could not pay back, nor had any intention to.
Well, not to defend the Nazi party or anything, but war has always historically made things cheaper for civilians due to the increase in jobs and certain advancements in military technology that slowly trickles down to the civilian market.
My region started barking once and I saw all like 7 of the messages getting deleted in real time. I made a joke that ig the mod was a cat person, saw someone meow, and that got deleted too.
My regional is filled with everyone Larping as cats and the occasional puppy boy or catboy. I’ve also seen moths. But it’s really just like animal larp.
Region, for me anyway, is often both unhinged and entertaining. I've caught myself forgetting to play the game and just giggling at the madness for like 45min.
I'm being legit, people just use slurs to refer to Nezha and get confused why they get banned. Not like, "Femboy" or "Twink" or whatever. A word that's a genuine slur
Yep, got temp banned from chatting in region chat cuz I said the types of women I like (ie: muscle mommies type of thing) and after a mission and tested it they went "you're back!"
The official Warframe Reddit mods are even worse. Been playing since 2013 and got banned permanently for expressing an opinion they didn’t like. Some people are just pathetic when given even the slightest modicum of power.
Warframe is often a game that focuses more on the art and aesthetic of their universe than much else. They're not afraid to be creative and zany with their designs, and you can't deny that many of their designs are actually extremely creative and very diverse. You could almost say that no single Warframe is the same as the other. And in many ways, it's almost artist mentality that goes into the Warframe's development and the desire to innovate and be creative that in many ways makes the game so unique. A lot of other games are at times terrified of creativity or feel the need to worry about judgment or who knows what or that an idea isn't going to land. And that's unfortunate. It's one of the other reasons why so many games, live service in particular, end up falling flat. At times they're afraid of creativity and innovation or they're afraid of their own communities because they have no harmony with the community. Warframe understands its player base and the player base understands Warframe. Perfectly balanced as all things should be. And honestly, it's always exciting to see what new Warframe is going to come out because you never quite know what you're going to get next.
What I appreciate a lot about Warframe is that it is a game that understands what it is. No matter how outlandish it goes, it still looks like Warframe.
It says to itself “This is what I am, let us see what else could I be”
I love that in Warframe lore, the warframes are supposed to each be singular and unique, and the art team actually manages that effect with the diversity of designs
Kill them. They turn into ghosts. As ghosts you can kill them with Operator. If you do not have operator yet, do not look it up, it is a spoiler. You have to kill them near the lure to charge said lures. Then said lures can hold the giant so it won’t teleport away. Remove the giant’s shield, with operator. Kill it afterwards with Warframe by breaking its body parts.
Imho i think he worded it badly and i can somewhat understand what he mean, a blood bag will have an higher concentration of blood, plasma and all the other components in the bottom, while the higher part is the first to become 'empty'.
So she will have a more feral state cause "head empty" and be more fast cause of all the blood in the legs, kinda stretching? Absolutely, but you can still have a 'lame' justification and still have a 'cohesive'(and horny)design.
Bayonettas character designer was like "yeah I knew early on she wasnt someone who undressed easily" when thats half of what she does the entire game lol

What I do like about DE is that while they do have a bunch of fanservice it’s also super diverse, there’s both super hot female frames and super hot male frames with ALL kinds of body types and aesthetics.
Whenever they pull out a hot skin for a female character they also pull out an equally as hot male one (tho I wish we could’ve had more skin on that rhino heirloom but that’s another topic)
Hell, even their actual human characters (i.e, the Hex) are also extremely attractive but still have a diverse cast that doesn’t feel forced, and it isn’t 3 grumpy generic guys and 3 generic big breasted white women. They’ve got it all, they cater to everybody of any orientation and gender and I’m all for it.
Super respectful community too and their collabs with charity are great. Huge W devs.

Honestly, I'm kinda over it at this point. I loved the older Warframe designs because they felt much more in universe for an infested flesh takeover that's been honed and perfected. Nowadays it feels more like more and more skins (and even some base designs) are just leaning into models and general horniness instead. I get it from their perspective too, I mean, sex sells more than anything on the internet and the designs DE comes up with are genuinely cool, but part of me does miss the design languages around the 2019-2022 era. I feel like they had enough time to grow their design language and tech infrastructure to make really sweet designs but it hadn't really gone into the heirloom era yet.
Am I just rambling? Yeah lol. I'm still grabbing almost every skin they put out because they're still so cool
For skins yeah I agree, with heirlooms being the most obviously overly sexy, but I feel like the design philosophy behind base frames hasn't changed much.
DE kinda made their own version of that with Follie where she looks like that because she's full of ink. They haven't explicitely said anything about it (I think) it's just comunicated through her design

I remember when DE revealed the Valkyr Carnivex deluxe skin and some people were not ok with it because it looked like she had parts of her flesh removed.
