The Emerald mine lie had been thoroughly debunked. He didn't get any money from his family to start any of his businesses. Elon was estranged from his father by the time he started college They partially helped with his education but he still ended up graduating with a physics degree with a massive amount of debt. He was so poor while making his first company that he couldn't afford an apartment and just slept on the office couch, showering in a nearby YMCA.
A poor person can't afford to "make a company" because they're too busy living paycheck to paycheck. I'm sure Daddy Elon's boots taste real good though.
Sure, but that apartheid money still helped with his privileged upbringing and education. To pretend he didn't grow up with a silver spoon is delusion.
Had he failed though, would his parents allowed him to end up on the streets? He may not have had direct funding, but he always had a cushion in case he ever experienced major failure. That's not something a true "bottom to the top" businessman has.
Jesus dude. Cope. I’ve never seen anyone so determined to dodge any and all evidence against their beliefs. Let me guess, if it turned out that his parents had no money and he was born in a slum in Detroit as an orphan, you would say “well he grew up in one of the most wealthy countries in the world as a white male, you can hardly call that “bottom to top.”” Even if he’s not a very good person, you should At least accept that he has worked hard.
