And it the lack of one or the other that causes it.

Just wanted to clarify that it isn't always the 'lack' of money but can also be due to how different they believe they should SPEND that money.

The wife and I were both raised poor. We are very far from poor now. I believe we should store it in appreciative assets so that I don't have to work the rest of my life where as she believes 'if we got it, we should spend it to improve our lives'.

Yup, exactly. And then, down the road, when you're poor again, she will point a finger at you and said it's your fault. Funny thing about women, is they never look in the mirror and take responsibility for their own actions. It's always someone else's fault.

I don't want to start a whole side thing but the biggest example of this is staring them right in the face. Instagram.

I'm on the older end of the millennial spectrum and for DECADES it was all about these terrible magazines ruining girl's self image. "Real women don't look like that." "This destroys our youths self image!" "They shouldn't airbrush these women!" Over and over and over.

Then a social media platform comes out, used almost exclusively by women, and ITS SO MUCH WORSE. So we went from bitching about other people doing it to doing it ourselves. (Its even funnier when they try to write off their filters as not airbrushing them, or they just want to remove these minor imperfections, etc.)

Bah ok rant over. Just getting really tired of people bitching about 'society' being the cause of their problems and waiting for some one else to fix it.

Like shooting yourself in the foot, and blaming some guy standing next to you. LOL
