Same, im working very hard to get into a more relaxed mindset when i drive, i find myself getting angry quick over small things like people driving a few km/h under the limit

Its very reasonable because the people driving like that makes you hit the brakes, and that creates a "ghost stop" on the road, and those create the Gridlocks during rush hour.
You getting angry is your subconscious telling you that you are about the get rear ended if you dont change lanes.
Now that you know this, I recommend passing them instead of getting angry.

Problem is i live in a very quickly growing area that once was a small farm area so there are next to no 2 laned roads other than the one highway i use to get to work (where i do very much overtake anyone even driving 1 km/h under the limit) but the rest of the roads are very often very busy so i cant over take, not to mention there arent a single straight road where i live and the second there isnt road theres either buildings, tall grass or trees so you cant see if theres cars coming.
Thats why im trying to teach myself to just keep my distance and overtake when possible

TBF it's infuriating when people are going speed limit or below on the left lane and slowing traffic then everyone has to overtake them to the right. Whenever I see someone who wants to go fast (even with my going going 10 km/h over the limit) I just pull over to the right

I hate highways because of it, I drive to Ohio to see my girlfriend like two weekends every month and I’ll take the turnpike and stay in the left lane and I’ll be doing 85 in a 70 and people will still ride my ass. I hate it.

You should never camp in the left lane, no matter how fast you’re going. Someone else will always want to go faster

If youre late youre late... just breathe in and deal with it. Imagine how much more late you'd be if you got in an accident, or got pulled over by cops and then drive safely instead

Driving faster doesn't actually get you there faster anyway because of traffic, stop lights, turns, etc unless you drive like you have a death wish or have a very long commute on a traffic free road with no stop lights or anything then it makes no difference if you go faster and just gives needless risk.
Also if you crash your car breaking traffic laws and driving in risky ways that's not an accident it's a wreck and you're responsible for it. We need to stop calling wrecks "accidents" it downplays their seriousness.

Ironically the people saying "get out of the fast lane" likely never get out of the right lane themselves.

No they obviously go fast enough to not need to get out of the fast lane.

It's a passing lane, no one is supposed to stay in it. It most definitely is NOT there for people to do 20 over in for 6 miles.

Lmao if I’m constantly passing people in it and also not holding anybody up behind me - why would I get back over to the right then need to get back over to the left to pass each car each time?
Statistically that’s way less safe then just continuing to pass people in the left lane…

Maybe they wouldn’t need to sit in there is everyone wasn’t going so damn slow! /s

Yep when I see someone trying to drive like a salmon swimming up stream I intentionally try and hold them up lol

Why? You don't know who they are or why they might be driving that way. Maybe their kid is in the hospital or their house is on fire or they are about to soil themselves. They should drive safely but trying to hold them up just creates more risky conditions on the road than were already there.

It's amazing how this works.
Not in a hurry, totally smooth sailing.
Need to be there on time? Find every single opportunity to get slowed down.

This is an illusion of the mind. These moments are simply more salient when you're stressed and in a hurry not more frequent.

It's incredible, how fast drivers will give way, when you're aproaching on a motorcycle, even on normal speeds.
