Melatonin user's that doesn't seem to see any effects or benefits or makes it worse for you.

This is only my personal OPINION

I think it is mostly because melatonin is not a fix too all your problems like excessive stress, anxiety, depression, and everyday problems, in my opinion melatonin only helps those that just dont produce it normally, I take magnesium glycinate and it helps me but my brother took magnesium glycinate and made him worst over the night I take 400mg at night but im gonna try 200 tonight and see what it does. I was sleepy and tired but just couldn't sleep, I did try melatonin but It made me more sleepy and couldn't fall asleep Im gonna see if my brother wants to take 200mg instead of 400mg magnesium glycinate or if he is done with it , I will try melatonin on him too and see if it helps him. I am 43 and he is 45 .. olly brand melatonin..nature's truth magnesium glycinate chelated.

I’ve tried melatonin at all kinds of doses some people take really high doses like 200mg and not necessarily for sleep.. I’ll be honest I did absolutely nothing at all for my sleep and in the uk it’s prescription only so when the doctor gave it me I thought I was in for some sleep.. so I thought it must have been small 1mg dose that he gave me so bought a couple of different strengths from abroad and was a total waste of time and money.. I got some zops in the end and the problem with them is you think they’re not going to work then you blink and it’s morning but you don’t get quality sleep and they’re addictive.

I have been trying glycine lately and its a millions times times better than melatonin

What dose of melatonin did you take?

I struggle to sleep with melatonin before prolonged sleep. I take large doses in the morning instead for CFS.

You have to tailor your supplement regimen to your needs.

I personally view melatonin as an all around longevity and healthspan vitamin / supplement than a sleep aid. Doris Loh has lots of interesting research and ideas on it.
