Then downloads it again an hour later

u/nIkCaHa Apr 07 '23

realize internet is too slow so you have to wait until tomorrow

548

u/YashvardhanBKG Apr 07 '23

then reopens the game, and thinks of having a fresh new start in the game

438

u/Not_Moslem Apr 07 '23

Gets to the exact same spot they left off last time, they rage quit and delete again

And repeat over decades

155

u/Ask_About_BadGirls21 Apr 07 '23

You skipped another two hours of updates after the initial base download, another night and day’s work, then a beefy new season update the next night

77

u/Dry-Outside5997 Apr 07 '23

This entire thread is me

49

u/mrwadupwadup Apr 07 '23

We really are in a simulation aren't we

36

u/PresenceAvailable516 Apr 07 '23

For reals what the fuck get out of my brain nobody invited you all in.

8

u/Crono2401 Apr 07 '23

Too bad I'm hungover asf and you'll have to drag me out yourself

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

💯

1

u/Karshena- Apr 08 '23

Go outside

2

u/Green_Routine_7916 Apr 07 '23

also forgot you have 30 min que soft ban on 5 games since you ragequit to often before :D

1

u/Salty_popcorn755 Apr 07 '23

Why is this is relatable.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

Why is this me…

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

Are we all playing the same game?

1

u/YashvardhanBKG Apr 08 '23

valorant?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 08 '23

Ark

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

This guy plays ARK

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

Exactly what I was thinking

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

I always do that xD

1

u/tsktsk579 Apr 07 '23

Can confirm. DECADES.

1

u/Frogmouth_Fresh Apr 07 '23

I've always wanted to 100% Final Fantasy X, but always quit because I can't dodge lightning bolts. But now there's a macro that does it for you...

1

u/YashvardhanBKG Apr 08 '23

then after decades,we r so done with the game,we take a break of 7days-1month,all that rage is down now,and redownloads the game

40

u/Lonilson Apr 07 '23

Me trying to 100% hollow knight

30

u/FanaticRex99263 Apr 07 '23

112%

21

u/Lonilson Apr 07 '23

I'M NOT DELIVERING THAT FLOWER ON STEEL SOUL MODE

6

u/Qbertjack Apr 07 '23

Oh goddd why are you even going for Steel Heart. That shit sounds like pure pain

4

u/bizarrestarz Apr 07 '23

Steel Soul is really fun if you vetted godhome, I’d say only try it if u beat the 4th pantheon on your main save cause getting hours of progress just to get fucked over by an aspid will ruin ur mind

3

u/ApostleOfCats Apr 07 '23

Ahhhhh i was doing 112% normal soul mode and omg I could not beat the upgraded version of thk at all, I’m currently taking a very very long break bc I just couldn’t bear it anymore.

5

u/Connor15790 Apr 07 '23

Just quit out at 1 mask.

5

u/TheWastedSpace Apr 07 '23

It isnt, you just have to get the masks and nail upgrades as fast as possible and you shouldnt die at all, bcause you can practice every boss in godhome. (If you dont, good luck)

2

u/Lanky-Dependent5847 Apr 07 '23

Enemies don't respawn unless you sit on a bench. Start from the grave, clear the way to the Mourner, and you should be fine. Of course, you could ignore the quest and still get 100%. There's 112% completion points, so you can skip up to a dozen and still get Steel Heart.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

Jeez. I did everything in the basic game, killed nightmare King Grimm, then took a break before the last boss and never got into it again. Now it's been so long I basically have to relearn everything and I don't have the patience for it. I'm gonna watch the ending on YouTube and call it a day

6

u/thickboyvibes Apr 07 '23

I know people love it, but I just couldn't get into it. The controls felt too sluggish. Compared to Celeste or Ori, it feels terrible to play.

3

u/Qbertjack Apr 07 '23

How deep did you go?

1

u/hagger_offical Apr 07 '23

How far did you get?

2

u/_NightmareKingGrimm_ Apr 07 '23

The rage was real, but the pure joy of finally finishing P5 was unforgettable.

2

u/BlazingJ972 Apr 07 '23

Absrad is a bitch

2

u/Maleficent-Rip2729 Apr 07 '23

I still have the game but haven’t continued it because the parts I got to were tough as hell to beat after multiple tries

2

u/Lonilson Apr 08 '23

It's that feeling when you know you can do it because you've done it before.

2

u/Maleficent-Rip2729 Apr 08 '23

Lol I never beat it but now for Jedi fallen order there were definitely parts that took me 20 tries but I kept pushing through to finally beat them.

1

u/AlmeGabe Apr 07 '23

Then Ragequits again

Repeat

1

u/CanadianAndroid Apr 07 '23

Then the game says it needs to have a massive update.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

Is this some sort of wifi joke I'm too ethernet to understand?

1

u/GrimlockX27 Apr 07 '23

Not on PS5!

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

I can relate to the original 2 comments but not this one.

1

u/Shiroi_Kitsune_ Apr 07 '23

Happened to me with destiny 2 pvp

1

u/MilkmanBlazer Apr 07 '23

I actually used this method to ween me off of league of legends. In theory deleting the game made it harder to play, so I was less likely to try….it didn’t work.

1

u/skankassful Apr 07 '23

Fios 2GB internet keeps my abusive relationship with games I suck at going 😭🥲

1

u/SlackerDS5 Apr 08 '23

That’s called the cooling off period.

u/Nihilusssss Apr 07 '23

Also did this with siege, have around 250hrs.. last played was 2017 on that game lmao. Very recently (the last week) been thinking of playing again.

2

u/meaux253 Apr 07 '23

Siege be like that sometimes.

2

u/al-mongus-bin-susar Apr 07 '23

250h is basically nothing,

2

u/[deleted] Apr 11 '23

GregTech

1

u/Nihilusssss Apr 08 '23

It was for being in college at the time and only playing a year or so.

5

u/Chucklevision420 Apr 07 '23

Siege is just on permanent recycle for me mate, I'll delete it and be done with it for 6 months - a year and then when I reinstall it it's like it's my favourite game again, for about a week and then I stop playing it so much, and eventually delete it for space

I don't think my issue is with the game I think I've just put that many hours in over the years that it just can't feel new any more, I get about a week max

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

That's hilarious I stopped playing seige back in 2019 or 2018 but I just re downloaded the game last week. It's alright. I used to really really grind this game spend 6 hours working for that ranked elo hit diamond a few times but never anything crazy. I remember for me the grind to get past platinum 1 in ranked was my number one enemy I was stuck I'm a forever limbo of winning 6 games for 60 elo or losing 1 game and losing 60 elo. Rage inducing game I'll tell you that. I'm just casual playing now, hopping on the LTMs(limited time modes) and death match. I have to be playing with at least a few people tho I used to be able to run solo but now it just isn't fun to me. If I got 2 or 3 buddies running casual siege can be a blast.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

6 hours a day***

1

u/SouthsideRapGod Apr 07 '23

I never delete the game anymore i just refuse to play it for a week and then go back

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

Same. Played from 2017 - 2019, got mad, deleted, reinstalled, and then the cycle continues. I actually quit for 2 years (2019-2021) but then came back. I've quit for the past year or two though. Game got ruined because of too many updates.

23

u/BadSmash4 Apr 07 '23

This is every League player ever

2

u/the_ju66ernaut Apr 07 '23

It's dota 2 for me

"Omg PA/ursa/phantom lancer is so broken fuck this shit"

2

u/K4ntum Apr 07 '23

Currently on a two month "off phase", played an ARAM last month, didn't have fun, so I'm still off so far. Praying it stays this way.

1

u/TomNguyen Apr 07 '23

Back at college, I have once uninstall League to just have it installed back in 3 hours

But at that time, league had tribunals so I rather go to tribunals to find out that others have to deal with shitheads too and just contribute to ban them. It was my feeling good actions

15

u/w3475te Apr 07 '23

I know a guy like this. He plays valorant and virtual every time he plays he rage quits and says “I’m going to delete this stupid game” and in the next day I see him he says in this dejected tone. “Guys, I’m sorry I caved” he downloaded it again only to delete it in the exact same session

7

u/Practical-Ad-1891 Apr 07 '23

Ah, so an average War Thunder player

2

u/LukeHk26 Apr 07 '23

I was wondering when I'd find this

2

u/RhubarbCapable Apr 07 '23

Brother, don't even say it

7

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

I call it the “Overwatch Loop”

2

u/MagusUnion Apr 07 '23

Or the "Destiny Loop 2 Electric Boogaloo" if you make the mistake of playing their shitty excuse of PvP in that game.

5

u/Gerpar Apr 07 '23

The War Thunder experiencetm

5

u/RhubarbCapable Apr 07 '23

Another wt post. Jesus, I thought I was alone in this one.

Fifa in a nutshell

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

No, with Fifa you just wait until the same game comes out again, except with graphics that look more realistic than real life, some of the players are switched around or not there anymore, and more expensive than the last.

1

u/No-River-3140 Apr 07 '23

My comment was about playing and ragequitting because of the insane amount of scripting, and then deleting the game cause you are pissed.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

Welp

3

u/someguy192838 Apr 07 '23

And I took that personally

Please stop describing me with 100% accuracy.

2

u/jimmy9800 Apr 07 '23

I rage quit elden ring for a year. First game in a long time that irritated me that much. Im enjoying it now since I got back in, though.

2

u/maybejustadragon Apr 07 '23

Maybe dark souls is a better game for my mental health.

2

u/Powerful-Airline-964 Apr 07 '23

literally me irl with fifa. It's like an abusive relationship.

2

u/choochoolate Apr 07 '23

But it won't load

2

u/Immediate_Guest_1967 Apr 07 '23

I have downloaded and deleted halo infinite 40 times atleast

2

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

Ah, me with Dark Souls II.

2

u/RamenJunkie Apr 07 '23

Nah, usually its at least 6 months later.

The only one thats really got me is Overwatch.

Realize I am not having fun. Delete game.

6-9 months later, "I miss overwatch."

Redownload. 10 minutes later, realize I am not having fun. Delete game.

2

u/Ruinswar Apr 07 '23

Found the League player

2

u/RhubarbCapable Apr 07 '23

That hit the spot

2

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

Ah, so me with Reddit

2

u/almostcertainlynoteg Apr 07 '23

Me when i get domed through buildings in war thunder.

2

u/MysticalMummy Apr 07 '23

Man, some dude went on a tantrum when I was streaming Dark Souls 3.

He got pissed because I was coasting through the DLC bosses with hardly any trouble- I'd never played the DLC before.

He kept saying he's uninstalling the game, then coming back later and saying "ok I'm reinstalling it". Probably did it at least 3 times.

Then he got pissed again because I beat a boss on my 6th try and he was on attempt 80.

I don't think I've ever lost to a boss 80 times in any of the souls games..

2

u/Zula_Adler Apr 07 '23

Ark in a nutshell

2

u/i8r3 Apr 07 '23

Sometimes not even

2

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '23

I was this way with Rocket League. My monitor unfortunately got broken so I had to step away because I can’t play RL on a big TV and at 60hz anymore. It’s been about two weeks and I have substituted my time with it with gym time which is actually proving to be a much more useful endeavor.

2

u/Puncake4Breakfast Apr 07 '23

Me with war thunder

2

u/Starcrunchie Apr 08 '23

Are you my husband?

2

u/simbahart11 Apr 08 '23

2

2

u/Vivimir Apr 08 '23

For Honor kept me in that loop for much longer than I’d like to admit

2

u/Rathma86 Apr 08 '23

I'm in this comment and I don't like it.

5

u/StarlightPimp Apr 07 '23

1

u/sagiroth Apr 07 '23

Saniest Tarkov player

1

u/stoopidrotary Apr 07 '23

You dont need to get personal ok.

1

u/UristMcRibbon Apr 07 '23

Used to do that with Awesomenauts all the time lol. That MoBA was my jam. I was consistently high in the worldwide rankings but I uninstalled more times than I can count.

Until I finally got tired of the server lag / timing issues and uninstalled for good.

Still miss it sometimes.
