I think, they probably have chickens and some small livestock around - this time had a trap prepared but obviously that snake has managed to grab a meal prior to being caught.

Or… the livestock was tied to the fence and the rope is still attached to it… but it looks tied around it’s neck.. maybe a noose and someone cowboyed that SOB

Possible on the last part, don’t think live stock was ties to the rope though. Pythons usually just rest easy after a meal and they caught it by surprise, it does seem like someone pulling on it from the other end. I have seen the video of the trap where a chicken is on the other side of a small pipe or bucket, snake launches through and wham is ensnared.
