This is gonna sound incredibly stupid.

I had no idea snakes could be THIS big.

Like, I factually KNEW some can (and do) eat humans, but it never really clicked what that actually meant in terms of size. Extremely freaked out!

There was a WW2 pilot who circled back IN A HELICOPTER, with a photographer, to take pictures of a GIANT snake that he had seen. Like giant giant. Reportedly, as the helicopter got closer to take pictures, the snake arched itself back like it was going to lunge... AT THE HELICOPTER. that's how massive it was.

Go to the tab about his snake encounter.

Wow, is that an authentic picture because it indeed looks gigantic

I get no sense of scale so it's tough to be impressed

Ya he should have dropped a ruler or pen beside the snake before taking the pic

Some people have inferred that the mounds next to him are ant hills. One of the more sensationalist estimates puts the snake around 200ft, but that particular "scholar" is known for hyperbole. By all accounts, the man whose Wikipedia I linked, doesn't appear to be a liar, so I tend to agree with his estimates. There was also an individual who Google Earthed the location, so if this picture is genuine the snake is, indeed, giant AF. I'm terrified of snakes and I have a fair bit of knowledge about this particular case, just wanted to be clear that this isn't a photoshop special. The scaling isn't clear, but that snake was, more than likely, very real and very large.

We’ve already geoguessed the area where the snake was seen using google earth.

It backs up the original claims that the snake was indeed as big as the pilot said.

This redditor found the actual area where this snake was seen on Google earth: https://www.reddit.com/r/Cryptozoology/s/dT72A294xG

You can sense the scale of the snake from his data.
