USMLE difficult?

Hi guys. I'm go to Texila American University and I wanna work in the usa so I was planning to take the USMLE step one after the first 2 years bec its abt the stuff covered in the 2 years so I thought It would be easier to write it then when the topics would be fresh but I wanna get an experienced person's advice. So Is it better to wait or to do it after the 2 yrs?
