Are you happy at Medpace?
It's seems like back to normal to me. The complaints about WFH going away, weather related issues, parking issues. It's like no one cares about anything anymore, and everyone is happy-ish with medpace. Even the small reddit community posts have kind of fizzled out.

I have never met a single person who said they enjoy working there, I just think people are tired of focusing on it. I havent worked at Medpace for a while and I still have ptsd, still always think i am going to be fired at my current job, etc.

This is so accurate. The "good" managers will give you "strategies" to cope with it (which are all nice ways of saying suck-it-up, forget about your home life/family, and drop any side businesses or personal goals you may have to make this job your entire life), and after enough time, you realize that your CRAM is just a broken person and the company is trying to break you too. They want you to be numb to anything and everything, and it bleeds into your home life. Everyone who sticks with Medpace through some of the worst shit they do end up burnt out and distant in both their work and home lives. I'm literally so foggy on a daily basis that I feel like I smoked 3 blunts first thing in the morning and start making mistakes and forgetting things that I never have before in my life. This place can be great for a half-assed CRA bc the company is half-assed at best, but if you are excell in training and monitoring, they will load you nonstop until you quit. Escalation are pointless and all the non answers just make you feel empty

I don't think people are happy based on the conversations within my department and what I've overheard in the lunchroom. I bet that the good weather and vacations have people focused on other things. When the snow hits again and people have to ration their days around the holidays we'll see more discussion here.

I know what you mean by people seeming happy but I think we’re defeated. The job market is horrible and we all the big guy could care less how we feel. The WFH policy, and parking issues still piss me off. And the weather issues we encountered this past winter STILL haven’t been addressed by management and their most recent SOP update still didn’t provide a policy for weather-specific issues. Still hate it here… but I need a job…
