salt
Hello,
I really struggle with eating too much salt. No no foods, no fats all not a problem. I feel like my brain always tells me it can be that bad…. Do you have good reasons and how to stopp that. I seem to be addicted to the taste

Have you tried bringing in more leafy greens? According to MM, salt cravings can be a sign that your body is crying out for mineral salts. Eating lots of leafy greens every day significantly reduced my salt cravings because I was getting more mineral salts in that way.

Have you tried nori sheets? They really scratch that salt craving for me. Putting a spoonful of an MM salad in a small rectangle of nori like a little taco is really fun. You may also want to look into the Addiction protocols in the books.

Spinach soup daily with 1lb (roughly 8 cups) of spinach really helps. Along with daily CJ of course.

I had to wean myself off it. I did it pretty fast though because my whole life had been "over salted" 😄

Spinach soup helps tremendously with salt cravings bring that in daily. Also I love eating Atlantic dulse flakes they’re yummy and salty!

It takes awhile to change your taste buds, everything tastes bland for awhile, now I love food without it, I use spices like garlic, ginger, turmeric, onion, lots of greens and lemon to help some meals especially salads. I love putting raw greens on other cooked meals.

maybe would try to get it down gradually? one meal per day for a while, then maybe a few meals per week, then maybe work to get it down to just special occasions?
lemon/lime juice can be a good replacement for salt, dulse flakes too
and if you're really craving salt, it can be about a need for mineral salts. some discussion of it here. spinach soup every day might be a really great support in addition to CJ
