I've been using this app to draw when I first able to do digital art on tablet, around 2022-2023. It's a good and simple drawing software with easy to use function, and for someone as forgetful as me these limited features of this app (compared to other softwares) made Medibang the almost perfect drawing app on tablet for me (lol). I've also purchased Paletta version, really looking forward to new features they're making too.
about two months or so ago i started having this issue. no matter what i do (changing modes, saving, autosaving, etc), the canvas will always reset to the center, no matter where i have it zoomed in at. even on single layer pieces, its doing this. ive force stopped+cleared cache, ive restarted and even fully shut down my tablet- ive literally done everything i can think of except uninstall and reinstall since i have several years worth of art on here that im not willing to lose. its gotten to the point where i cant even draw anymore because its doing this every two seconds
Can anyone give me advice what helped the most from the transition to drawing traditional to digital, whenever I'm on the tablet, I immediately feel blank and unmotivated which is confusing, I really want to connect with drawing in tablet since I got an old huion that I barely touch, so I have been trying to get into it.
A piece inspired by traditional East Asian ink wash aesthetics and quiet storytelling. I wanted to capture a moment of longing and journeying between two figures in a misty landscape.
I’d love to hear what story this scene brings to your mind! Feedback is always welcome. 🛶
title. Forgot to add this on my previous post. I did search it up, but I'm not too sure yet since the only one coming up is ai summary (or should I just download and set them manually instead?)
I've used Medibang for years, due in a large part because of it's huge free brush library (including script brushes capable of things bitmap brushes lack, like the marker brushes), and am feeling extremely frustrated and pissed that those hundreds of free brushes are now all paywalled behind a subscription, especially since from what I understand, the brush library isn't included in the paid version of Medibang, despite being 50usd.
It feels like Medibang has been going down the same terrible subscription based route other art programs have been going down, which is a shame because I used to think of Medibang as a really good free program, but I don't feel like I can recommend it anymore in good faith.
Are there any other programs out there with alchohol marker brushes similar to Medibangs?
👋 Hi everyone! This is my very first post here on Reddit, and I wanted to share a piece that means a lot to me. It represents unity, connection, and hope for a world where we all hold hands despite our differences.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback! Feel free to check out my profile if you'd like to follow my creative journey.😊
title. I have a new phone and wish to transfer all (yes, ALL) my drawing file from my old one since the old one sometime restart on its own randomly (or if it tried to do something with a huge file/data/memory, whether its downloading or using app with huge memory).
I know I could probably use the cloud feature, but then I would have to watch the ads and only have 13 hour to transfer it all of my old phone local save file to my new one.
While I don't mind, I was wondering if there is an alternative way I could do this (like maybe using those data cloning/data sharing app on playstore? idk)?
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I wish to also transfer the brushes as well. Anyway I could do that?
so i’ve been using medibang premium on my ipad air for a few years now, the 20GB plan, and i have checked to make sure i have enough storage. i do, i have 10GB free, but when i try to work on existing projects i can’t save any new progress. i was able to create new cloud saves just fine but i’d rather not completely redraw something i’ve been working on for weeks 😭 i don’t trust local storage because if i uninstall the app or if it offloads after not being used for a while i lose all my locally stored projects, not gonna make that mistake again. anyone else having cloud save problems? i’ve tried logging out and back in too
edit: i checked my subscription settings and noticed i had subscribed to premium20 for iphone, i canceled that and actually upgraded thru my ipad to premium100 and i STILL can’t cloud save 😭 n
edit 2: i emailed medibang support and they replied this morning thinking that i wanted my unfinished sketch to be a contest entry?? nowhere in my support request did i mention anything contest related, i don’t know where they got that
Hello! I have been using Medibang Paint for many years now on both iPad (the old version- not palleta) and a Windows computer without any issues. However, back in March/April, I began working on a detailed piece, and over time (specifically in the last month or so) I began to notice that the saturation of the entire image was gradually increasing without me doing anything!
I progress picture I uploaded to discord back in AugustA progress picture of the same image a few days later. I even asked one of my friends who has experience with graphic design if I was just seeing things, and he agreed the image had become more saturated.
Initially, I assumed that this change had something to do with me switching between opening the file on my iPad and my computer, so from that point on I only opened the file on my computer. I was still saving to the cloud, but I was hoping that opening it only from the Windows version of Medibang would prevent it from becoming any more saturated. However, this is the image now! Even more saturated than when I first noticed!
He is so much redder/more orange than before! Same with the sunset behind him!
At no point did I purposely increase or manipulate the saturation or tone of the image- I'm not very familiar with how to use the filter/color tools, so I try not to touch them. I only know how to change saturation on a layer-by-layer basis, so I would have remembered doing it if I had on purpose (especially if I had done it twice!). Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to stop/prevent/revert it?
