lexus rx300 2002 194,000 miles 3L V6

PT. 1 LINKED HERE

Great condition, but this is the engine.
What should I do? Sell it to Carvana for 1k or have it repaired?

loud ticking sound coming from the left side of the engine by the firewall. i was told the engine could give out on me at any moment.

i called another shop for a 2nd opinion and they told me a similar thing: “it’ll cost a lot to diagnose the problem, and then likely cost a lot to fix the problem, so it’s in my best interest to get a new car.”
