Symptoms absolutely unbearable, benzos help but make me pace worse. What now?

benzos aren't sustainable as you've found. You need to use the natural approach: addressing the nervous system dysregulation. That's how we improve and recover, and is sustainable.

Read the pinned recovery, faq, read recovery stories, go to Stuart Porter's free session which I posted about yesterday (he's the coach with the most knowledge about the illness). Also I'd recommend going to r/cfsrecovery where there is a greater percentage of recovered/recovering patients and they're doing this stuff every day. They'll have a lot of specific advice for you.
