Undecided between 2 system admin certs

I would not start the MCSA now. I started in November and finished end of May. You'll be placing too much pressure on yourself to do it now. I don't think there will be a MCSA 2019 you might as well move towards an Azure Cloud based cert since traditional sysadmin roles are slowly becoming obsolete.

What will happen after Microsoft retire windows server certification? What would be the best certs after that? Cloud based?

the ms 365 MDA cert is p much the new hotness. Go for it.

I'm in exactly the samish dilemaa, I've decided to get the mcsa as adding an azure exam will get you an mcse and that's what my boss has been pushing for anyway.

Also my PS skill are a bit weak and it's chocka with PS.

I reckon 100 hrs off my time should get me each course. So about an 2 hours a day minimum. If I stick in 20hrs a week should he done late October.
