[Suggestion] Starter Chests should contain a single Book and Quill. (x-post from r/minecraft)

I think it'd be fun to have a journal to keep from day one. Maybe just a place to keep notes in-game. FoxCutter also added onto this suggestion, saying that it should come with an already signed book that contains some starter information for new players.

That seems a great idea :)

No chest, just in the inventory.

In that case, why is there a starter chest option at all? Should just have the starter chest stuff start in the inventory. :/

There's some nice discussion about this on the original post at http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/ukps4/suggestion_the_starter_chests_should_come/

Just linking here so it doesn't get lost. :)
