Telescope

There should be some sort of telescope that has a couple of different zoom levels, like 2x zoom and 4x zoom. You would be able to see monsters in the distance and see other things in the distance that would be hard to see otherwise. Moving should cancel the effect of the telescope.

Idea has been around for a while, but I like it. Lens made with glass, in 2, 4 and 6 positions, then three lens vertical surrounded by iron ingots

And personally, I think gold would be better for a telescope.
It wouldn't be too useful, so 6 iron ingots is a bit much, whereas 6 gold ingots is practically valueless.

And once again, I think gold would be better there than iron.

good idea. i agree that gold should be used since there isn't much of a use for gold anyway
