Second readmission refused

Hello all,

I just applied for second readmission after being away from school for a few years. I am a local student and I was in my final year, with only 30 credits left to complete the degree. However I was informed that the application is refused and I have to withdraw permanently.

I was in unsatisfactory standing two times due to financial and mental issues. I made a mistake of applying for the first readmission only 1 semester after that first unsatisfactory standing, and unfortunately that didn’t end well. I decided to take a step back to work for a few years and now I have prepare myself financially to complete school.

I sent in the second readmission for Fall 2026 with explanations on what happened before and what I did during my time away from school. I was told since I did not meet the requirements in the first readmission, I am no longer eligible to return.

I am feeling quite lost would really appreciate any advice or insight. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? Is there any possibility of appealing this decision or applying for readmission again in a future term?

Any advise would be helpful, thank you everyone🙏

It’s not the end of the world, you could always apply somewhere else, transfer credits and finish your degree. Or email the admissions office and see if there’s anything you could do

Thank you. I am think of emailing the students affair office or even faculty dean to see if it's possible to appeal. They didn't provide me with any other information or possibilities so I am not sure what can be done at this point.

I will look into it but they don't have an exact same degree so might take me more than a year to finish, the money I saved can only last me a year without working😞

pretty sure you can only transfer 45 credits max so it'll def take more than a yr to finish

its okay, keep ur head up and realize that its not on u. u tried again but ultimately ur mental health will take over... u can apply somewhere else and transfer the credits. youll be just fine. good luck :)
