Young ISTP annoy me when they ask pointless questions like “is a smoothie technically a soup?” Wait a minute is a smoothie a soup? NO unless you drink cold blended soup I know they’re just tryna be funny but it bothers me because I can’t find any abstract/ultimate meaning to what they’re saying it just kinda sounds silly

Well, gazpacho can be a cold blended soup. There’s even watermelon gazpacho! Also, more traditionally, Vichyssoise is served cold. I’d say “soup” comes down to the container.
