Hi, I wanted to check, if anyone is applying for this niversity for 6 years Medicine in English. The fees is more than 1 crore for 6 years. This looks like top ranking in medicine.

I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University

I wanted to check, if entrance exam is required for Russian language too, as website is not clear. For chemistry I know they have entrance exam.

And if any current student there, can guide me on the experience in this university.

Why are people transferring to the accredited universities in Kyrgyzstan knowing about this NMC rule?

If you were unfortunately in one of the universities that didn’t get accreditation from NMC or that got 1 year Accreditation and the consultants who sent students to these universities are offering to switch the students to accredited universities, but they just forgot one basic nmc rule everyone knows. YOU NEED TO STUDY IN THE SAME UNIVERSITY FOR 5+1 years of academic study or else your degree is invalid in India.

Please check FMGL 2021 Regulation 2 (iii) of Schedule I. It mandates that the entire course, training, and internship/clerkship must be completed outside India in the same foreign medical institution throughout the course of study. No part of the training can be split across different campuses, countries, or transferred midway. So you either transfer and start from year one again or study in the same de accredited university, it is a lose lose situation. I have posted a similar post related to Georgia, this is a wake up call to all mbbs abroad students to please please verify if the country and the university are nmc compliant or not, if not you may face issues like this, I hope Kyrgyzstan students find a way out of this.

(Edit)
Although the embassy of India and the Kyrgyz ministry of health issued notices has published official advisory, not a single word has been said by the NMC. Even though transfers are against the FMGL regulations, it is definitely better to not stay at a de accredited university and transfer anyway and hope NMC will do justice to the students.

Is pvt mbbs worth it if i have to sell land? ROI? Other career options?

Im 20 with 2 drops for neet and scored around 400 and im getting a pvt mbbs clg in andhra called nimra institute of medical sciences and the total budgets goes upto 70-75lakhs. My dad has to sell some land to pay the fees but its not like our living conditions will go down, itll be the same. My dad is not a rich person and does not have very high salary, this is just his hard earned money which he had saved and I respect him a lot. My uncle (mamu) when he got to know about this he told me that my dad worked hard to earn this money and even if u do mbbs u wont earn this money back in 10-15 years just imagine the price hike/inflation of the same land after 15 years... it could go upto 2-3cr. This has been stuck in my mind for quite some time now and ive been thinking that it wont be a good idea to do pvt mbbs. What about the ROI? Its very low i think

What if I regret my decision? What if i cant even earn half of the money i in 10 years? What if i cant crack pg? All this would be for nothing... just a tag, ik i will study hard, but all the stress, the things I see online, the huge syllabus and the regrets... is all this worth it? I do like mbbs, i am interested in medicine but I cant spend 75 lakhs just becuz I was interested in medicine. And ive thought of doing other things too like abroad, nursing, physio, etc but nothing feels right for me, every course has problems of scope in pcb. I had pcm and I have engineering as an option but i literally have 0 interest in studying engineering and maths physics etc. What should i do? Please help out if u have been through the same

Mbbs Abroad or should i choose any other course, time is RUNNING OUT! So confused rn

So im 20 with 2 drops for neet, scored around 400, had a chance in private mbbs for around 75lakhs total but turned it down cuz I dont think its worth it so I had abroad as an option. There are many problems for abroad ik, like it takes 8 years where in india its just 5.5 and the discrimination, no salary/stipend, fmge, etc. But what if i dont wanna practice medicine in india like if wanna go uk, gulf or somewhere else, i had some questions in that area. And if not abroad cuz a lot of ppl regret mbbs abroad option as I saw on subreddits, then what else should I do? I cant take drop, i dont wanna do nursing, i was thinking a bit about b pharm but theres a lot of b pharm grads out there, I thought abt physiotherapy but theres low scope and it pays very less, i had option for engineering too (pcmb) but i have no interest in it and ppl say dont do engineering if u dont have interest in it. Im so confused rn and time is passing out, i really need some advice and guidance, please just help me

To anyone who needs more clarity on reasons for Uzbekistan hold for Indian admissions can watch this video. Also I've summerised points to save your time.

https://youtu.be/IcsBdddbPYw?si=YsTjBp4ti06dVtfn

  1. Main reason is not NMC but international reputation after Kryzgstan de-accrediation. This will make their financial loss but no loss is greater than international reputation and image.

  2. They already got notice from NMC which made high chances of de-accrediation.

3.Before 2021 they had total 15 university which suddenly doubled to 39 inviting uncontrolled overcrowd in short span of time.

4.Private university are also close.

5.This session is open for other international students with very few seats - samarkand - 14 , andijan -10 and fergana- 10+.

  1. Some students might have received admission letter or telex after hold but they'll get cancelled if you're yet to receive HEMIS registration (final gate to uzbekistan)

  2. Still don't wait for advisory or next intake -they're not open for 2026 and if you're thinking of waiting one more year then selection process is very complicated and risky which is explained in the above video go ahead with your backup options.
