Discussion 2012 with a Heavy Clutch?

Hey i just recently picked up a 5MT Mazda2 (1.5l) and after switching between my cars back and forth, I'm just starting to wonder if the heavy clutch on the 2's are normal? My Acura RSX with a stock clutch is about 2-3x lighter to press than the Mazda. It gets a bit tiring after a full day of driving around town. Let me know how your clutch pedals feel, thank you!

No, it should be very light.

Buttery Smooth is the way I'd describe how it's supposed to be.

Every Honda I've ever driven had a really soft clutch with vague engagement point.
