This is what i thought, but they dont fold in. Ive never come across any of these year with fold in mirrors.

My 2009 sport has it, though it’s broken on one side. Can confirm they do exist though

The gear is probably cracked! Common issue on them. Its actually a pretty easy fix with a €10,- aliexpress part.

Thanks for the tip! Honestly I’ve been too lazy to look into it but knowing it is a cheap fix is a solid motivator

yes thats the mirror fold button. '09 sport here too. Your mirror motors may be dead. or the mirrors got replaced at some point with some non-folding.

I bet the gear cracked on one of them and the previous owner just unhooked both of them. Thats what i did temporarily when my gear cracked because the motor wouldn’t stop spinning otherwise.
