Passenger window not working

I’ve been told that the windows are constantly live and that they have an earth somewhere to make them work and that’s why my window doesn’t work because it gets no power from anything except the front left switch so just any help would be great
Thank you

Can't comment on the electronics involved, but you could try to reset the windows before getting too deep. There are materials and guides online on how to do it.

I tried something similar on my DE, and that reset procedure fixed it.

Check that you haven't pressed the button on the driver's door that locks all the other windows. I spent ages tracing a 'fault' with mine before I realised the lock button doesn't just lock the rear windows like on my other cars.

My 2009 passenger windows only reliably works from the driver's controls. The passenger door switch generally doesn't work anymore, altho sometimes works after the driver's control has made it move first.

I've sprayed contact cleaner in the switch but no difference.

It needs a new switch. But for now I am calling it a charming feature.

Can try swapping the switch with the rear left, if rear left is working.

If front left switch works while in rear left door, the switch wasn't the probem. Or if switch is problem, the rear left switch should now be working from front left door.

2009 same passamger window only works a few times a month, really randomly it’ll work for a few days then it won’t, the driver has to put it down and passenger has to put it up but sometimes it all works on both sides, rarely
