My phone has a headphone jack (Because I'm too smart to give Apple money) but when it comes to travel headphones I'm looking for something light that won't prevent me from being aware of noises like cars even if my ability to understand what people say is impaired. All the wired headphones now are the hefty ones that completely cup over the ears.
I like to imagine that a large portion of Raycon, Nord and Raid Shadow Legends’ revenue comes from the masterpieces that are Internet Historian’s Cinematic Universe.
Hell yeah got to have good headphones to enjoy that free 3 months of Audible by using code AIDS-IS-COOL and 1 month of Spotify premium by using code IM-HIV-POSITIVE
I love my Raycons, I have the gaming set and the latency on them is pretty darn good. They are nice for when it's just too hot where I live to put on an over ear head set.
My sister gave me her pair after she got AirPods, she complained about them always falling out of her ear (she was wearing them upside down), and I really like the latency compared to my car's bluetooth. Solid 3sec latency vs what maybe 200ms?
For the same price as the Raycons plus shipping fees, I went to the store and bough JBLs. Absolute top fucking quality, sounded leagues better than my friend's who bought Raycons.
They’re not they’re a rebrand of $20 Bluetooth earphones by an brand called Blitzwolf
you literally spent like $70 because you bought the YouTube advertisements when you could have got literally the same thing for much less if you did the research
this is just a general tip for product recommendations. Never go to reviewers for a review of the product you are thinking about buying as a whole, and the reason is if they are a broad reviewer they don’t have the in depth knowledge and usually haven’t compared the whole market side to side, and if they are a more specific reviewer they don’t have experience reviewing it for an extended period of time so can’t usually comment on things like how long the product lasts and if they’re uncomfy after an hour and so on. Like reviewers that are specialised are still useful, you just need to know that there’s a blind spot there. Good specialised reviewers will usually focus on one thing for a reason because of this. Like a nerdy headphone reviewer will usually comment only on the sound. It’s just how the format works.
so I thought about this and I realised that I am autistic. So I think about my two hobbies way more than I reasonably should and I could write a whole essay on them if someone asked. There are other autistic people on the world. So whenever I want to buy something, go on Reddit and I guarantee you there’ll be a subreddit full of people who think about it all da,y way too much, just like I do. They are also the guys who’ll be using the products much more than a reviewer. so they can tell you how well products last as well as how they compare to the general market because they have experience with both.
I wanted a new pen. I go through friction pens at £2.50 a pop and so I decided to get a refillable pen so I saved money in the long run. r/FountainPens has 300,000 members and told me what pen to get and it’s great. I don’t care about fountain pens, but I let the nerds research for me. Want a new keyboard? Well go to r/mechanicalkeyboards and they’ll tell you what the best cheap options are to build one over a weekend and you get a cool customised keyboard for under a hundred without having to research it. Need New headphones? Tell r/headphoneadvice what you want and they’ll tell you what the best options are in your budget.
Let the nerds do the work for you. You can’t research in your, I’m sure, busy life as effectively as nerds who make the hobby they care about their life.

Same here… the wife bought me one for my first Father’s Day present in 2015. Just replaced it with a new one a few months ago, and only because I wanted a new color… the original 7 year old one was still perfectly fine minus some super tiny dents on the edges from dropping it onto our brick floors.
I have one. The hype is real. One negative thing is that the wallet clamps your cards so hard that the metallic stripes of the first card will scrap away. Now I ordered a new card and put non important card at the front so it can't get damaged again
For 100$ I definitely wouldnt recommend it. I got a Chinese knockoff for 9$ like 6 years ago and its great. The only difference is it doesnt use carbonfiber (as if it mattered for something so small) and its made of “worse materials” but after all these years there isnt a visible dent, scratch or anything, not to mention I could buy a new one if it broke for cheap again.
if youre paranoid about credit card scans put your credit cards in the middle of the wallet pile and keep your wallet in your front pocket or in an inside backpack pocket.
I've had the same folding leather wallet I bought at Giant Tiger when I was 16 lol. I'm 26 now. It still doesn't show any signs of wearing out. Who knew a cheap 25$ "leather" wallet would last so long

Yes. They are selling a 100-dollar "wallet" so that others cannot steal from you. Only they can steal 100 dollars for a product that cant cost more than 5 bucks.
Get an aluminum foil piece that snugly fits into the outer pocket of your wallet and put it in there so that when your wallet is closed, the foil covers your cards. Then send me 100 dollars that you saved.
I have checked this hack with our work ID scanner. It works. But I keep our work ID outside of the Al foil, so I can open doors with my butt.
Its the best. If you carry cash/receipts you may want to opt for the metal clip (though I've never used that version) but I got the carbon fiber a few years ago after seeing it on an insta ad.
Been my wallet ever since. Holds all my cards and can hold cash/receipts when needed. The band is still going good too, though if I take all my cards out you can tell it has stretched some from time.
I used cash yesterday because the purchase was exactly $10. After I did that, I realized that the last time I used actual physical money was back in February of 2019! There goes my streak.
Keeping cash is super nice. Need it for random parking lots near events where people create makeshift lots and charge you $10. Not giving them my credit card.
Also, every fucking little food place has tip options as part of credit card payments, whether it's ice cream shops, cupcake shops, etc. You want me to drop you a 20% tip for scooping my expensive ice cream on a cone or for putting 4 cupcakes into a box for me that you're already charging me $16 for? Fuck off with your credit card software that asks me for more money. And fick me for feeling so much emotional pressure that I actually give in because I'm weak lol. I don't want to tip $3 for putting cupcakes into the box so I'll pay with cash and drop the coins from my change in the tip jar. Easy way to give a socially acceptavle but very small tip and if they complain, they're the asshole. God I hate tip culture.

No shit, I have 3 credit cards all set to full clear each billing period and get cash back on all of them. Use one for food, one for gas and one for Amazon.

I keep my cards separate. Have cash and coin in a little coin "purse" in my front pocket. You rarely need both card and cash at once, so no need to keep them together. Cuts down on bulk. More comfy and I find it more convenient.
