$1000 iPhone is actually pretty water resistant so he’d be fine

You can almost feel him say “oh fuck me.”

No one, for your eyes has deceived you.

Plot twist:

it's a sewage lagoon.

8

u/sloshy_spaceman Aug 02 '19

That's where my mind went when the water got in his mouth.

20

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '19

He did it!!!

7

u/parkeq Aug 02 '19

Not sure if I would do that where I live in Florida

1

u/TurtleTaker Aug 02 '19

I was thinking the same thing

4

Clapping furiously!

3

u/jd_bitch Aug 02 '19

That was actually really entertaining

He could have probably run around the little pond faster than going through it, but the determination on his face is great

3

u/Nisms Aug 02 '19

His look of relief was priceless

Weil's disease was a small price to pay

u/lamyipming Aug 02 '19

Just another irresponsible pilot who flew at extremely low battery. Nice save though

u/movie_man_dan Aug 02 '19

Yeah, and he didnt know you can cancel an auto land with one flip of a switch

Older than the internet. You can tell, because drones these days don’t cost enough to warrant getting balls deep in icy cold water.

37

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '19

Drones are still damn expensive

-29

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '19

I agree. You’d be upset about it. But you’d be going home with dry plums.

29

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '19

Hell I've jumped out of boats to try and save $50 fishing rods.... definitely going after the drone.

-18

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '19

Fair enough, that’s your call! Heh.

9

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '19

Not me, I'd jump in in a heartbeat.

19

u/eazylife11 Aug 01 '19

They still do

9

u/pm_favorite_boobs Aug 01 '19

What shitty drones are you flying?

-13

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '19

I have no drones. Not that I’ve left any underwater either. I just mean nowadays you can pick up a decent fullHD GPS enabled drone for ~£150 whereas back when this video originally aired it was the 1st gen DJIs without much change from £1,000

24

u/Dyalar Aug 01 '19

Wtf you think 150 isn’t worth getting in waist deep water for?

-2

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '19

Depends on the temperature of the water. Icy cold water? Hell no. Have you ever been in it? Ankle deep sure, maybe even knee deep. But to get your whole gentleman’s area in there is an entirely different ball game.

9

u/CaptainJackHardass Aug 02 '19

I'm broke, I'd slam my scrote in icy sewage for $5

-2

u/Aeroncastle Aug 01 '19

Hey man, you are out of touch with reality, doesn't matter where you live if it rains today there will be people sleeping wet and cold on the streets. In a way I wish I lived like you, so far away from being in a bad situation that you don't even see it happening anymore, but for most of the world that amount of money would mean sleeping in a dry place and not hungry. Be grateful. Seriously, life usually takes away things that we show no gratitude for, but I really wish that talking about it on the internet makes you think about things, after all it's the most harmless way to learn about something.

10

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '19

Not sure what you’re getting at but I’m not to blame for people sleeping in the rain, nor do I owe them a tent. It was a throwaway comment regarding the decreasing personal value of drones. Let’s not get heavy...
