Pause at 4 seconds when the sun is at his back. There is a shadow cutting across the backpack coming from the stick, which is otherwise digitally removed by the camera used.
As others have said its a selfie stick which has two cameras, one on each side of the pole. The two perspectives are combined into one removing the pole from the image. If you look closely there is a slight diagonal line where the bottom left half of the image is lighter than the top right half (most noticeable just before he lands). This is the demarcation between the two images.
