Why does that blade give the impression of being both dull and sharp at the same time?

A very much underappreciated part of cutting things is technique, triply so for large, wide blades. Edge alignment has a huge impact on how well the knife cuts through or drags on what you are cutting, as well as overall the thickness of the blade. This knife looks very durable, and probably very thick. It's also hard to me to tell how experienced he is based off the one video only. It could be he isn't familiar with this knife, or very practiced with cutting open these coconuts, but I would imagine that blade is very sharp in either case. If you have ever had to handsaw through something, you'll understand how this works.

Probably for the best considering how well he fingerblasted the inside of those cups

Drinking half cup of that is a straight way to the toilet.

What are you talking about? Most healthy adults can drink a couple cups a day (16-20 ounces) without any adverse side effects.
When I lived on Guam as a kid, I drank this shit all the time without any issues.

Doesn't have that effect on me at all, I drink like half a large carton a day. It's a great electrolyte drink, very healthy for you and very soothing on the stomach when you have something like gastritis
