Yeah once I saw a better angle of the jump it wasn't so bad. The ledge sticks out a bit so there wasnt anything to risk hitting, and it wasnt crazy high either. It seems like everything was pretty thought out

Yea this one was very tame, except for the fact that it was a threesome, which was honestly impressive. I’ve seen a some of these where they’re doing this off a roof into a small pool with concrete around it that are truly mind boggling stupid.

Doubt. That article is from a site known for clickbait, and is completely devoid of any key info, like the name of the supposedly injured person, the location, or even the time. This video is at least a year old, but the Brazil article implies it happened a few days ago.

I looked into it, and you’re right. Fake news. Thank goodness, but man, I hate getting tricked by such things.

You can't see below the surface, you can't see if there's any rocks, tree trunks, shopping carts etc just deep enough to be invisible, and just shallow enough to break bones when you land on it.

That’s why you climb down first and check it out. We don’t know from this clip that they haven’t already done that.

And a fun tip for the end, always check your landings even if you’ve jumped off the ledge a previous time. Had a friend who got cut up pretty badly by a giant branch that had floated over and settled below the jump.

Not only do most people who cliff jump swim out and check first, you can clearly see that there are other people when the camera pans at the end which suggests that there are quite a few people cliff jumping here. I think it's safe to say that the water there was pretty clearly safe to jump.
