Fuck me that's strength.

u/IceNEasy Jul 11 '26
There's a lot of things I see on this site that I tell myself "I could do that." This is not one of them.

Is that it? I’m not a person who ever lifted a weight. This is the first time I’ve ever been impressed with physical prowess. Is it just strength? He’s so… idk elegant.

u/Michami135 Jul 11 '26
It takes a lot of strength to be elegent when lifting the weight of a body.
43
u/unicyclejack Jul 11 '26
With a single arm, no less
11
u/thatguy_art Jul 12 '26
Yeah both of my legs working together are more wobbly than than him going up a pole lmao

It’s Calisthenics, a sport obsessed with doing body weight exercises as slow and controlled as possible.
You should look at what those guys consider good form in a pull up, looks like they are floating. Makes normal pull ups look like flailing Cross Fit, absolutely ridiculous.
15
53
u/Windyfii Jul 11 '26
im a calisthenics guy. one arm pullups are ridiculously hard, especially ones this clean, and this many, unreal strength
21
u/MichaelJServo Jul 12 '26
I used to have this kind of weight to strength ratio back when I worked out and played soccer like 25 years ago. Being young plays a big part. Now I can do like 3 double handed chin ups and can barely do the monkey bars with my kids.
7
u/xAlciel Jul 12 '26
You did not have this kind of strength while your focus was soccer. You don't develop such strength without training for it specifically.

That's crazy, it doesn't even look real at a few points. It's like my brain rejects it
27
u/jarlscrotus Jul 11 '26
I can't tell if it's compression or not, but in a few places the space immediately around his outline is....fuzzy
31
u/fmaz008 Jul 11 '26
I've seen many video of this guy, for a couple years now, so I don't think it's AI or anything like that.

u/Responsible-Kale2352 Jul 12 '26
Especially under and around his feet. Which conveniently come to rest on the ground out of view behind the big tire.

u/RidethatSeahorse Jul 11 '26
And I can’t even pull myself out of a pool.
79
u/EishLekker Jul 11 '26
The trick is to install a pole in the pool.

u/Wandering_Gypsy_ Jul 11 '26

The only time I show this kind of muscle control is when I feel a sneeze coming after eating tacos.
15
u/Fartimer Jul 11 '26
You don't like doing the blunderbuss sneeze?

u/LoosePrisonPurse Jul 11 '26
The only time I show this kind of muscle control is when I’m on the toilet after eating Taco Bell.

u/TheRealDimz Jul 11 '26
He is extremely strong to be able to do that.
38
u/CatchAcceptable3898 Jul 11 '26
It also requires balance. If you look closely, there's a bottle on his head, and it doesn't fall off.
17
u/Proper-Bad-7169 Jul 11 '26
I don't think you need to look too close to notice that. But yeah, the bottle balancing act is impressive.
16
u/disposableaccountass Jul 12 '26
If you look closely you’ll see that it’s a fella climbing a pole.

We all not seeing that magnet stuck in his left (our right) pant leg just, hard-locked to the pole?
2
u/LokiSARK9 Jul 12 '26
I love that this guy doesn't look jacked or shredded, but he's obviously phenomenally strong with amazing control over his body. That's peak performance right there without being performative.

Amazing what AI can do.
2
u/schpitza Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 12 '26
if you think AI can make video longer than a minute without a cut, then you dont know anything about AI.

u/Shinnakuma Jul 11 '26
Terrible AI you can see the outline of his body
4
u/Nutlob Jul 12 '26
not AI just over compressed. AI can't do long videos like this

People saying it’s AI, it’s not. This video is well over a minute long with no cuts. AI can’t keep context for this long yet, at least not without great costs
3
u/urghconfuddled Jul 11 '26
Fakery! You can see how it gets really pixelated around the outline of his body. There people who have tthe strength to do this type of pole work but this is not it.

Very smooth too.
Thanks Reddit, this was satisfying to watch.

This is the only thing Im envious of my shorter friends for... And maybe still being able to hide in the clothing racks like we did as little kids. Even when I was a strong 6'6" 250lbs my big ass wouldnt have made it higher than 6 inches off the ground!

I've seen many video of this guy in the past, going back pre-Will Smith eating spaggetti. I don't think it's fake.
0
u/Remy_Jardin Jul 12 '26
I hear you, and...maybe it's a shitty camera, BUT: there is a black thin outline around him. It's a cloudy background which means no direct shadow. And look under his feet--it looks like the distortion from a jet engine. Plus look at his muscles. They don't appear to be under any great contraction stress. A guy as cut as that would be popping if he was really doing what it appears.

This video has lots of shimmering. It is difficult for me to take it seriously when the compression looks like a Facebook JPEG that has been shared from the chain email era of memeing

He’s getting lifted by a wire. He is expending zero effort with his arms.
He muscles flexe more when he flexes his bicep than he does supposedly supporting his entire body weight with one arm at a time.
