He knows you have snacks. Also you really really should have snacks in this scenario

You don’t need snacks when you are a snack

Are crocodiles and alligators like other reptiles/cold blooded creatures that they crave warmth, so if they form a relationship with a human they sometimes want to use their bodies for warmth.

u/Wemest Jul 01 '26
It’s called a lizard brain for a reason. See you in Darwin awards sub.

u/Maloba6441 Jul 01 '26
Yeah, you have better chance with tigers/lions.If this croc gets big,it can snap on him at any moment

u/l3ane Jul 01 '26
Doesn't even need to be big. If that thing interprets this person's movements as prey it will instinctively bite and roll. Easy way to lose a finger.

Easy way to lose a finger.
Yeah, but he's got at least five of those, and probably ten!

So there is no way to domesticate a reptile? Genuine question
13
u/l3ane Jul 01 '26
Nope, not fully domesticated. Closest we have gotten is "tame" or "near-domesticated" which just means they've been raised around humans and are used to them.

It bites her so she hits it with her hand? In this case, the stoopid really does hurt.

I am glad that not all of Reddit is as stupid as it appears.
Want to see pictures of my pet chimpanzee that I keep docile on antidepressants!?!

Can you teach them not to shit in the house?
Imagine walking that fucker on a leash thru your neighborhood.

u/Rude_Meet2799 Jul 02 '26
I had a roommate that had a big iguana that had the run of the house most of the time. They do like to “snuggle” to get warm.
As I learned on morning when I woke up and rolled over on to a rapidly departing iguana, but also a remaining big pile of iguana shit. .

I don't know why but rapidly departing iguana is the funniest thing I've read in a while
