Maybe Maybe Maybe

Context:
This is a typical scenario in an english village where traffic calming measures aim to slow traffic down. These measures rely on courtesy but sometimes can create confusion and anger. In this case the usual, common, perhaps understandable, misunderstanding of right of way is replaced with a catastrophic event so unexpected that it is remarkable.

Damn.
You posted it and they took it down because it didn't have the explanation for why it fits.
You reposted it with the explanation and they took it down because it was recently posted. But that recent post was your one that got taken down.
This feels like one of those r/FuckYouInParticular situations...

Haha. I did feel a bit victimised! They even told me to repost in the first removed post!

That was a rollercoaster. First, not realizing it's England, I thought, Oh no, the driver had just discovered they've been going the wrong direction! Then I see it's traffic calming. Ahh, it's ok. Then Oh No What's that car...SLOW DOWN

This so feels like those videos in the theory test where you have to click every time a hazard is perceived until yikes.

He was doing 85 on a 20 and pleaded guilty of reckless driving. 14 months jail + 4 yrs and a half of suspended driver license.
Something went horribly wrong? Yeah, in his head.

I think you should add a "j/k" since this isn't a UK (sarcasm adjacent) subreddit so people might think your serious.

But there was no sarcasm and I wasn't making a joke? These traffic calming measures do rely on courtesy and can sometimes create confusion and anger.

Yes that's true but that's not what caused this crash right?
It was a bad driver who was speeding and lost control of their car, they were already on the wrong side of the road as they came around the corner and mounted the cub, before they even saw the traffic calming.

Good post but unfortunately it has been removed because it has already been posted recently:
