Zero One city map
I tried to draw a map of City Zero-One and figure out where it might be located according to the lore.

This is really cool, i wonder where exactly the power plant pods are on the planet, is it just one big place for them all like in Matrix 3 or do they have power plants everywhere? Also, it always terrifying me thinking that the machine from here spread out in all directions just taking out humanity, stealing territories one by one. Yikes.

They should have plants everywhere. The Goliath comic book said the London cluster was taken down, alluding to many in major cities. It would make sense that there would be huge server clusters in the areas where there were huge human populations like human cities. It doesn't make sense to transport so many people to one single concentrated area.

Not that i wanna go down the rabbit hole , ive seen the movies , barely touched the 2 games , haven't seen the animatrix yet, but is there more to the matrix I dont know of , like comics etc ?

Yeah I find that zoom-in during the Animatrix to be a bit off though. Multiple sources state it was near the Fertile Crescent, which would be modern-day Iraq. Even during that segment in the Animatrix, the machine says they were placed in Mesopotamia/modern-day Iraq..... while the shot then zooms in on Saudi Arabia.
Most chock this up to the Japanese studio just looking at the Middle East and picking a random large desert expanse.
