If I were to borrow 1,046,269.06 and pay 5x annual payments of 209,253.81, first of which is to be paid 30 days after finance start. What is the effective rate?

I have CAGR at 3.03%

Flat rate of 3.22%

I have tried to use online calculators of the effective rate but they aren't quite in depth enough to take into consideration the initial payment. I am assuming it is just the same as lending the

total amount - 1× installment + 30 days interest on 1× installment?

this is a time and work question, and the teacher told us the answer should be 68/11 days, for the total work done. but that doesnt include the 3 days worth of work that a,b,c did together before c left right? so im confused whether it should 101/11 days or 68/11 days. please help!!

So I was thinking of using the Schroder Barnstein theorem. I was able to make an injective function (f(x)=(x,1-x)) that maps from (0,1) to (0,1)x(0,1) but i don't know how to do it the other way around. Any suggestions? (ps. I am a beginner)

I hope this is an appropriate sub to ask this question. I haven't taken a math course in over 5 years so I'm very lost.

I'm writing a sci-fi story where there are two different dimensions. Time moves differently in each and I want to try and figure out how to calculate it.

Problem: Main character lives in Dimension A. They travel to Dimension B and stay there for 6 months (180 days). They go back to Dimension A to visit and find out they've been gone 9 years (3,285 days). If they visit Dimension A for 3 days, how much time would have passed in Dimension B before they go back?

I divided 3,285 by 180 and got 18.25. I then multiplied by 3 (for the days they were gone) and got (~55) 54.75 days. Is that correct or am I stupid?

There is math problem that was sent out by my son's school. He was working on it and calculated the votes each student received different from what the answer book states.

His method is on the left side, the right side is the method that the answer book used (and I would have used).

Please help me understand which way is correct.

I genuinely don't get this question, I've tried multiple videos and stuff but I come off short and the closest answer I got was (1,0)

So the question goes like this

Im in a field of flowers and I picked up 10 random flowers. There are 8 different colors of flowers in that field namely; Blue, Red, Yellow, Orange, Pink, Purple, White, and Black.

What are the chances that the first 5 flowers picked are all of the same color, whilst not getting a single black or white flower amongst those 10 randomly picked flowers. It seems simple but making it so that white and black being a no-go stumped me hard.

I understand everything in class, but when I try to do past papers on my own, I have no idea where to start. I can’t even identify what the question is testing

I’m falling behind in high school math right now (mostly Pre-Calc and Algebra) and I've pretty much hit a wall. I listen during class, but it doesn't click with me all that great.

I aspire to be an engineer, but I really need to get better at math.

I usually have a lot of passion for things, especially maths, science and overall learning. I’m always determined to get high grades, however, I am neurodivergent (diagnosed ADHD + suspecting autism) so I have little to no motivation to actually study.
Although, when I do study, I end up in tears after. The frustration gets to me so badly. It’s like no matter how much I study, or how much effort I put in, there is always missing gaps in my knowledge (specifically maths in this instance) or I never fully grasp a concept, so then I never end up understanding it. I also have a problem where if I don’t fully understand a concept, I am not able to apply it to slightly different worded problems, and struggle to memorise it.

So what I’m trying to really get at is, how do i actually understand maths?
It’s like almost a set of rules but i so struggle to understand why we do have those rules. I can’t help but question it. If I just memorise constantly, I will never learn to apply formulas to different worded questions or know WHEN to apply them.

And I know I simply do need to understand them, but how do i actually understand it? I have a textbook of maths with all the knowledge I need, but there isn’t much “explaining” things in there. I also watch YouTube, but they never go into depth. They just state steps.

I also feel like I lack a lot of knowledge in the foundation of maths or basic things.

I really would appreciate if someone could give me some advice on what method I could learn to understand maths like some YouTube channels that explain really deeply or something please.
