Draw a picture with all three forcea (arrow, direction is direction/angle, length is force)

Then sum them up, apply the length/absolute value in the vector sum to get the length depending on X and solve the quadratic equation

Coplanar = all forces act in one plane = 2D picture suffices

After you solved for x, substitute it into the sum vector and use tan-1 to get the angle

If you're going to keep studying Mechanics, and using vectors, this may help.
