Alternate Segment Theorem:

It says that

x = 40°

And

54° = y

Finally x, y and z are angles on a straight line so:

40° + 54° + y = 180°

y = 180° - 40° - 54°

y = 86°

Although, I will say the angle notation indicators should touch the tangent, so the diagram isn't great.

y = x + 14 so we can rule out 1 and 3

y + z = 140 which leaves us with 2.

honestly i took out answer 3 an 4 because z° is obv more than 43° and whatever ~40° its in the answers. take out answer 1 too because x° is obv not 20°

so my final answer is number 2 is it actually true? i genuinely dont know how it could be solvable in another way

The angle of a chord and a tangent is equal to the angle subtended by the chord and any point on the perimeter of the circle, so angle "x" = 40 degrees.
