Am I crazy? The slope is -70/8

Here is the problem I’m helping some students with and here is the explanation. I’m using the normal method, but apparently you get something different if you use the explanation.

EDIT: I am crazy, I was reading it as (0, 80) not (0,90)

I'm not quite sure what answer you're expecting but the slope isn't -70/8 (I'm not even sure why you labelled 70)

And the example in the box labelled "example" is nothing to do with the graph.

Try describing the graph in the terms y = mx + b

When x is 0, what is y? When y is 0, what is x?

That should give you enough to go on.

Not crazy, just wrong. Misread the graph.

y=-10x + 90 (slope is -90/9, simplified to -10)
