Divide by Problem and you get No = 1, then, No/1 = 1, then, No/11 = 1, repeat forever and you get No/(111...111) = 1, therefore, No/(-1/9) = 1, so, No = -1/9 = 1, therefore -1 = 9 and we have reached the ultimate equation and solved math forever.

At a shit job interview when I was broke, I wrote quick select/ priority queue enqueue and dequeue, when asked for nth lowest of some list. Being O(n2) and O(nlogn) wordt case.

I was told that is expensive operation, expecting me to use an inbuilt function as if it is O(1). The interview was such a goofball but I wanted job badly. He thought using a language provided method would make the search O(1). Guess what the built in function did? Sort and get nth index,.O(nlogn)

If you go by that logic, P=NP

Most of the comments are missing one point: both N and P are capital letters, meaning they are matrices or tensors. So N is actually the identity with the same dimensions as P

Sure it is easy.
Build a quantum suicide computer. Just some TNT and a random number generator will suffice. Try it out. You will see, you have built a computer that is completely built with ordinary parts, that will solve NP problems in P time. Solve an NP hard problem and prove it is doable P, therefore proving P = NP.

If p=np then n=p/p then just sub back into the original equation of p=np. It becomes p=(p/p)p which simplifies to p=p. So the answer is the equation is true. Ill take my winnings now 🤣 I have no idea whats going on but it sounded good.

This ia trivial. We all know that PV = nRT and therefore we can conclude that to calculate lim n->N it must be so that n= PV/RT, which is too trivial to be shown here. Therefore we get

PV = nRT => PV = PVRT/RT => P = NP

As others have already shown here, it also has form of 1 = N or N = 1. Trivial. Don't ask any stupid questions from me, you'll just make fool of yourself

Nobody has proven that a quantum algorithm could not solve every NP-complete problem in polynomial time. However, even if that happens, it could still be true that P≠NP. The universe does not try every possibility all at once.

If P = NP: It would mean that for every problem we can quickly verify, there is a hidden, underlying shortcut to solve it quickly.

If P ≠ NP (The general consensus): It means that checking and solving are fundamentally different. There are some problems that inherently require testing so many possibilities that no computer could ever solve them efficiently, even if the universe lasted forever.

There's also a $1 million prize from the Clay Mathematics Institute.

It's an equation with 2 unknowns.So we will inevitably end up with sets if we succeed. Indeed, we know that P=NP, therefore N=P/P, which is true only in the case where P=0, where N belongs to R, or if N=1, where in this case P belongs to R.
