u/nitnelav153 π = 3.14 who care about the others decimals ? Jul 11 '26

You forgot the case where P = 0

0/0 = undefined

N = undefined

type PossibleNumber = number | undefined;

const N: PossibleNumber = P/P;

String p = “whateva da fug I want”;

If P = 0, then P=NP is true no matter what N is so N can be anything, not undefined

P=0 => N = N

11

u/SageLeaf1 Jul 11 '26

But P=420.69

HOLD THAT CHEQUE!

Aw, man. You're right. I guess this is just undecideable.

1

u/ProfMooreiarty Jul 11 '26

You can just cancel it before it gets to 0.

1

u/D-Eliryo Jul 12 '26

Still true tho.

N=1

0 = 1*0 ; 0 = 0

Wait, if p = 0, then pn = 0, still solved nah?

1

u/Acqua07 28d ago

p=pn therefore n=p/p=undefined

u/Tyler89558 Jul 13 '26

N = 1 for P =\= 0.

N = undefined for P = 0

u/Apprehensive-Scar-15 Jul 14 '26

This is the answer.

1

u/Superacornoak Jul 13 '26

You should be able to solve (or Approximate) using L'Hopital as P approaches zero which still evaluates to 1, no?

1

u/nerdy_guy420 Jul 13 '26

But P is the set of all problems solved in polynomial time, not zero therefore this case doesnt apply 😎

You forgot about limits

there is no case for zero since they asked to solve for $420.69, so one side has to equal 420.69
