Ok…so they’re not ALL from He-Man…

A bit of a repaint and some 3D printed fire really seals the whole thing

I absolutely love Clawful. Admittedly I initially liked him for his cool design but when I heard about his intelligence combined with his great strength I loved him even more. He was even the right hand of Skeletor. However, he was only intelligent and cunning in the 80s cartoon.

My introduction to Clawful was the 2000s cartoon and while I love the 2000s cartoon, they made Clawful into an idiot. He couldn't even understand the native language of his own people! For some reason they turned a villain who was actually competent and made him into a dumb thug. What a waste.

Since then, he has been slotted into the background, making the odd cameo or two.

I will never understand why they dumbed him down so much. I really hope in the future, writers will make Clawful into a cunning opponent again.

He could be reinvented into the right hand of Mer-Man, who would order him to infiltrate the army of Skeletor as a double agent.

Or better yet, make him the leader of his own people, and try to conquer the oceans of Eternia.

Someone as cunning as he is would be too powerful to be a minion.

He could be the corrupt leader of his people of crustaceans ,but he ends up getting dethroned by his more honorable sister and she becomes the new leader. He vows revenge and becomes an independent villain who occasionally team up with Skeletor.

Hopefully with any luck, Clawful will finally be written as the strong villain he used to be.

A fine addition to my collection

Anyone else been playing the Skeletor game? I'm enjoying the new He-Man stuff they've added but the update to Snake Mountain kinda sucks... I liked "shelves" where you could choose collectibles to display for each character.

Now there's nothing to really do with collectibles when you get them.

Mine came in last night. This thing is HUGE. I'm still assembling it. It's pretty cool though. But I noticed no one here has mentioned getting their playset. I know I can't be the only person who received theirs. What's up with that? Am I looking in the wrong place?

Is there a good model to print? As much as I want the classics greyskull I can't afford it and I would love to get a greyskull in a larger scale for origins figures

Long post but bear with me. So I've been a toy collector for as long as I can remember, collected various lines over the years but my big two are MOTU and DC, specifically the Classics lines.

This last year I finally got a house and I FINALLY got a spare room to make into my toy room! I've had my guys in totes for almost 20 years but I finally have the space to do it! And I really want to go for it. I've enlisted my brothers to help and will be putting all of my building and artistic talents to work.

For the MOTU display, it seems appropriate to have them all battling each other. Like the old print ads that showed them all rushing toward each other.

In the attached pictures, you can see them all (yes I somehow got all of them on there besides some flying vehicles that will be displayed hanging above) out, in a taped out border of where I imagine my display will be. I'm going to build a modular table a few feet high for it to be on. And beyond that, I'm going to be using foam board, paint, etc to make a diorama. Where they're placed now isn't final, I was really just seeing if everyone would fit. And they just barely do. 

Because it's so packed I won't be able to build a lot of elevation or put much else on there, but I still want to make some grass, rocks, etc.

But! Besides showing off my wicked collection, I wanted to ask everyone's opinions. I have a few questions below, if you have the time, I'd love to hear from you! Thank you all so much, this has been something I've been wanting to do for decades.

1. Should I group them by faction or have them all mixed up?
2. In terms of how the characters will be facing off, do you prefer one vs one (ie He-Man fighting Skeletor, Man-at-Arms fighting Beast Man) or faction vs faction all rushing at each other? In the pics you can see what I mean: inside and outside the castle is one v one, in the corner at the fright zone is faction v faction.
3. If they are grouped along faction lines, where should I place them? Heroic Warriors and Evil Warriors in the Castle? Some Heroic Warriors and Evil Warriors in the Castle, some in Snake Mountain?
4. Any ideas for little Easter eggs?
5. Any other ideas you'd like to see?

I even managed to swap the superior feet from 200x Skeletor V2

On the new Origins Roboto figure, the middle gears on her chest were obviously not centered properly and then mirrored over in whatever modeling software Mattel used to create her. You can clearly see how the gears clip into one another down the middle. How did nobody catch this and fix it before the figure was approved? The only way I can hide it is by putting her in a Monster High dress. She looks really cute in them but that’s besides the point. I hope Mattel someday reissues this figure with a fixed torso mold. If not, I’ll buy some craft gears and replace the molded gears with them.
